Episode 32

I may have missed a few episodes but I can tell you this; so easy to catch up! I am not going to do a full recap because it is all a repetition that it is not worth a full recap. This is an episode where everybody just wants to torture themselves and no end is in sight!

For one, Dr Ling says he has left Wing Lam, ending up Wing Lam is now the 3rd party ending up with Wing Lam agreeing to leave him and go back to England, ending up with him going back with Wing Lam, ending up Sum crying pitifully at the airport and Hou looking on. So Dr Ling is not gonna die? I want him to die! That way the whole story will just end!!

Then there's Ka and Ka Mei. Ka Mei decided to seduce back Ka, using pitiful story of her son's father, Jimmy Wong coming back to extort money, ending up Ka fell back in love with Ka Mei after she fainted from working too hard, then he carried her to hospital ending up he himself having some undiagnosed heart ailment but no worries, nothing serious. They kissed. Yuet found out that Jimmy is not the boy's father but paid by Ka Mei to put up a show. Yuet told Ka Mei to leave Ka but Ka Mei gate crashed a function, danced and then met with Ka and told him they're over. Ka was upset.

Then there's Yuen, now the puppet of Hung and her ex husband. Her ex husband is nice to Hung because he promised his dying wife (then the 3rd party, then good friends with Hung) to help Hung no matter what, and that includes doing illegal stuff. How dumb. Anyway Yuen was coerced into buying more high priced shops by Hung who so called let go of her position and is now a consultant and so Yuen is now kinda running the business. Why he listens to her? Well when he was young he ran down a woman in Thailand, Hung paid the Thai police and he was let go. So now they're using this against Yuen. Truth is if the police was paid, I doubt the case will be reopened and HUng will be in trouble for aiding and abetting. No wonder Yuen is so nice to her; I thought he was just being nice. Looks like he is weak, dumb and stupid. I don't like how this character is being handled.

And guess what? All of a sudden, Ka Mei is now assistant to Yuen, hired by Hung.

Where did that come from??

Hopefully next episode has something worth recapping about. I am still quite obssessed with a well structured series like Gallileo to be bothered with this mess.

Acting wise though, no complaints. Except maybe for Chris Lai. I mean is he on Hung's side because of the threats or because he loves Hung? Because I can't see the difference!!
